Spiritual but still human

Caution swearing ahead - but funny 🙉

Some people think that once you step onto a spiritual path, you suddenly become a serene woodland sage who floats through life on a cloud of incense and good intentions.

But let’s be honest, even the wisest forest spirit still stubs their toe on a tree root now and then.

Being a compassionate, heart‑led soul doesn’t erase your humanity. It just means you’re trying your best while occasionally needing a nap, a boundary, or a snack before you say something un‑Zen.

You can hold space for others and still have days where your own energy is wobblier than a baby deer on ice.

You can radiate kindness and still get overwhelmed, overstimulated, or mildly murderous when someone chews too loudly.

You can be deeply spiritual and still need to hide in the bathroom for five minutes of peace because your aura is doing the equivalent of data buffering.

Spirituality doesn’t turn you into an ethereal being of endless patience.

It simply teaches you to notice when your cup is empty and to refill it before you start offering sips to the whole village.

So yes, you’re a luminous, compassionate, beautifully attuned soul…

but you are also a human with limits, thresholds, and the occasional desire to yeet your phone into the sea.

And that’s not a flaw.🤦

That’s the magic of being both a creature of spirit and skin, stardust and stress, divine intention wrapped in a very mortal nervous system.

Your humanity isn’t the opposite of your spirituality. It’s the doorway to it. 🙏
