About the event
Dive into an evening filled with tradition, artistry, and the wonder of summertime. In this practical workshop, you will learn the technique of creating your very own Corn Dolly a unique symbol of safety, prosperity, and seasonal cycles.
In the course of two hours, you will be introduced to all steps in creation of this wonderful object. All material and instructions will be provided at the workshop.
And as you create your Corn Dolly, you will hear about the ancient tradition of the Corn Dolly and its rich folklore from the harvest blessing to the spirit of the grains through the tradition of Scotland and Celtic people.
